Development of Alzheimer's Disease

Alzheimer name derived from the name of Dr. Alois Alzheimer, the German physician who first discovered the disease in 1906. Dr. Alzheimer noticed changes in the brain tissue of women who die from mental disorders who had never met before.

This increase is due to the growing number of elderly people in the world, increasing the life span up to 80 years for women and 75 years for men. In addition, the maintenance of better health, declining marriage rate, divorce increased and they were married but not many children.

Recent clinical research suggests supplementation with omega-3 fatty acids may slow menurunan cognitive function in patients with mild Alzheimer's disease.
